This trek
is relatively different from the usual Everest circuit
offering you the sound environment free from noise &
crowd, besides, you get an ample opportunity to reach
the summits of two trekking peaks including Gokyo Ri
& Island Peak (6160m). These gives you a chance
to observe a clearer & awe inspiring view of Mt.
Everest than ever & its perspective of the surrounding
Himalayan giants are astounding.
This region offers a fine settlements
of Sherpa located in eastern Nepal. During trekking,
we travel through the several small yak-grazing settlements,
will definitely offer you a unique lifestyle & their
rich cultural tradition.
The trail makes ascent
to Island Peak where we will do a little technical climbing.
There you are rewarded with the absolutely breath taking
scenery that includes Everest, Lhotse, Makalu, Nuptse,
& Ama Dablam.

Early
in the morning with steep climb up to the
top of Gokyo Ri (5483m), begins a day, providing
you an ample chance to reward with natural
beauty, is one attempt this trip. You see
the stunning views of the supper Gokyo valley,
the massive Ngozumpa Glacier and an incredible
panoramic view of the whole Khumbu Himalayas,
such as giants as Everest, Lhotse, Nutse,
Makalu (8481m), Cho-Oyu (8153m) & Gychung
Kang (7922m) can see very closely. This trek
gives an ample opportunity to explore the
glacier & Gokyo peak for those who are
interested. This day is for acclimatization,
so we return back to the camp in after noon.

* What type
of shape do I need to be in?
This trek is suitable
for average people who are moderately fit, thus no previous
experience is required. To get condition for the trek,
some physical fitness programs such as running, swimming,
hiking is recommended before you embark on journey.
Person suffering from pre-existing diseases must seek
medical advice before considering the trek. Whilst on
the trek, it is common to experience some discomfort
before being fully acclimatized.
* Do we need any mountaineering
experience?
No mountaineering experience
is required as long as you're in your sound physical
shape & have a sense of adventure will enjoy this
trek.
* Is there any dangers that occur
on these trips (robbery, kidnappings, etc...) due to
Maoist uprising or is it a safe experience?
Nepal is absolutely safe
country to travel. We do take every precaution to ensure
the comfort and safety of the trekkers. In regards to
political stress, everything has returned to normalcy
lately after government - Maoist truce and Maoist party
recently joint political mainstream after historical
peace accord signed by both parties.
